What ScienceExplain Is
ScienceExplain is an independent reference site built on one idea: almost anything can be explained clearly. Not dumbed down — explained. We take subjects that are normally buried under jargon and rebuild them from the ground up, so that a curious reader with no background in the field can follow the whole argument.
How We Write
Every explanation on this site follows the same structure. We start with a one-sentence answer, then unpack what the concept actually means, why it happens, what it looks like in the real world, and why it matters to you. Sources are checked before publication, and articles are revised when the underlying evidence changes.
- Plain language first. Technical terms are introduced only when they earn their place.
- Structure over style. A clear explanation beats a clever one.
- No hype. We do not overstate findings to make a headline.
- Corrections are welcome. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
What We Cover
Six main fields: AI & Technology, Natural Science, Social Science, History & Civilization, Economics & Society, and Simplified Learning for students rebuilding their foundations.
Who It Is For
Students who need a second explanation, professionals who need context outside their own field, and anyone who has ever read a definition and still not understood it. No subscription, no paywall.
